Awards and Achievements

The K.S.Varkey Elocution competition invites students from schools all over UAE to compete in any of the four categories: Sub-Junior, Junior, Sub-Senior and Senior. Participating students had to render poems/pieces of their choices, and were judged on the basis of clarity, audibility, and expressions. There were 22 students who qualified for the final rounds of the contest held in October 2018.

The following were the results for the participating students of GEMS New Millennium School;

1. Jovita Bhaumik of Grade 3D won the 2nd position overall in her category. 
2. Afreen Danish of Grade 8B won the 2nd position overall in her category. 
3. Madiha Umair of Grade 10A won the consolation prize, 5th position overall in her category.

Grade 9 students from New Millennium School scooped the first prize in the Health Care category at the Interschool Business Simulation competition hosted by GEMS Modern Academy, in February 2018.  #BISF2018

Our students participated in the Terra-Vista Competition held at GEMS Modern Academy, in January 2018, where we scooped 1st place in 2 categories:

The Prestigious Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Al Nahyan Award for excellence is awarded to female students from GEMS schools all over the world for their outstanding academic performance, leadership skills and their significant contribution to social, environmental and global citizenship. Below are the GNMS award winners who have made an indelible impression with their positive and distinctive contributions. The award winners from the UAE receive a scholarship to cover a year's tuition fee at their respective school.
